Stepfamily Scotland understands the problems
that stepfamilies face. If you are in a stepfamily already, or about to become
part of one, Stepfamily Scotland can provide helpful advice and support. If you feel you would like
to talk to someone who will listen, be non-judgemental and provide you with some support call the Stepfamily Scotland
Helpline on 0845 122 8655.
Stepfamily
Scotland is now recruiting volunteers to work on the Stepfamily Scotland helpline. The helpline is open five
days a week during working hours, and applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of two hours of volunteering per
week.
The helpline training course is
the COSCA accredited counselling skills course. It will start
at the end of September 2008 and will involve a commitment of one
day a week until mid March. With the trainers'
approval, you would start work on the helpline in January/February.
