WELCOME

Stepfamilies are considered to be the fastest growing family unit today. Stepfamilies have extra challenges that other families do not have. Stepcouples can find themselves facing rivalies between their ex- partner,  guilt about the absent parent, divided loyalites felt by the extended family and rivalry between biological and step-siblings. It's not surprising that with the best will in the world things can often go wrong.

Scottish Marrige Care  understands the problems that stepfamilies face. If you are in a stepfamily already or about to be part of one, we can provide helpful support and advice. If you would like to talk to someone who will listen, be non judgemental and provide you with some support call -
The Relationship Helpline on  0845 122 8655. Our Helpline is open Monday- Thursday 12pm-4pm

How to survive the festive season in a stepfamily
